Who we are

At Cloud9, we exist to support the people behind the care — the staff who show up every day for others, often at the expense of their own wellbeing.

Our founder, Charlie Reynolds, has spent over a decade helping individuals improve their physical, mental, and emotional health through 1-to-1 coaching. But it was through volunteering in health and social care environments that Charlie saw a deeper need. He witnessed not only the heartbreaking challenges that vulnerable children and adults face — but also the immense emotional and physical toll placed on the staff supporting them.

It became clear that if we want to improve outcomes for those in care, we need to start by supporting the carers themselves.

Cloud9 was born out of that mission: to offer accessible, realistic wellbeing support for those working in emotionally demanding environments. With experience coaching people from all walks of life, Charlie knew the power of targeted, compassionate guidance — and he wanted to direct that towards those who need it most.

By helping care staff feel stronger, more resilient, and better supported, we’re not just impacting individuals — we’re helping improve the environments they work in and the lives of the people they care for.

This work is more than a business — it’s a calling. And we’re here to make sure those doing the most important work aren’t left to do it alone.

Course Description

The Cloud9 Wellbeing Course is a self-led programme created specifically for care staff — not just as professionals, but as people. It focuses on supporting the individual behind the role, helping them build resilience, manage stress, and feel more in control of their emotional and physical wellbeing.

Rather than waiting for burnout or crisis to strike, the course takes a proactive approach — equipping staff with simple, science and experience backed tools they can use daily to protect their mental health and energy levels. Each module encourages reflection, practical action, and long-term habits that work around the realities of shift work and emotionally demanding environments.

From improving sleep and setting boundaries, to better nutrition, emotional regulation, and stress recovery — it’s about helping staff feel better, not just function. And when care professionals thrive, the ripple effect benefits not just the team — but the vulnerable people they care for, too.
